      Departments

Administration
Responsible to the Board of Trustees for the efficient administration of all departments of the town government.

Community Development
Oversees land use planning and zoning, building permits, sign permits, building inspections, and code enforcement.

Convention & Visitors Bureau
Responsible for overseeing tourism development programs including Special Events, Communications, Group Sales, Visitors Services, Film Commission, and facilities including Conference Center, Stanley Park Fairgrounds, Visitors Center.

Finance
Responsible for budget development and control, accounting, reporting.

Human Resources
Responsible for all employee programs including health and life insurance, retirement, employee safety, worker’s compensation, employment policies, compensation policies.

Marketing
Conducts the Convention & Visitors Bureau's tourism development communications programs with both paid (advertising) and unpaid (editorial) media placements.

Museum
The Estes Park Museum collects, interprets and preserves local history, as well as presents exhibits, programs and events, for the education and benefit of residents and visitors of all ages.

Public Safety
Provides police protection and other public safety programs for the Estes Park area and its citizens, and provides assistance to the Larimer County Sheriff's Department, Colorado State Patrol and Rocky Mountain National Park as requested by each agency.

Public Works
Responsible for engineering services, maintenance of Town streets, parks, fleet, and public facilities.

Senior Center
Offering a comprehensive range of programs and opportunities for social, cultural and educational events at the Center. Lunch is served daily, Monday through Friday at noon by reservation.

Town Clerk
Responsible for agendas and minutes of public meetings, business licensing, elected official listing, liquor licensing, master calendar of public town meetings, municipal elections, official records, and sales tax information.

Utilities
Responsible for G.I.S. mapping and providing quality electrical service and water to the community.

Volunteer Fire Department
The Estes Park Volunteer Fire Department serves an area covering approximately 100 square miles. Currently the Department is made up of 35 dedicated volunteers.
